what i'm watching before bed

11:34pm and i'm cooked for the day

time for bed

watch a little tv and fall asleep

it's 2026 so tv means youtube

and what did the youtube algorithm serve for a late night snack tonight?

a recently enhanced full game broadcast of the 1985 battle between the patriots and dolphins in foxboro

now i'm exhausted and can't imagine i'll make it through more than a quarter of this game

but some quick thoughts from a great late night find:

i love seeing old broadcasts
it's amazing to fathom that's the view fans had for sports back in the day

check out the graphics

and the commercials?
if only this blog was written on one of these on sale radioshack computers

is this belichick?
was he there in 1985?

opening shot of sullivan stadium
ain't she a beaut

and check out the patriots scouting report thanks to the nbc broadcast

what a time it was for sports
to be at the game
to watch on tv

and to be reminded of upcoming events
like the pba fall tour

lfg

back to the game
dolpins with a quick scoring drive to go up 7-0 in the 1st

and I'm falling asleep
someone wake me up if we come back
apparently the dolphins suck in foxboro
